When you enter the GARAGE, it is time to go to WORK. These workouts are designed to be quick and effective. Daily workouts that train your entire body. Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Squatting, Lunging, and Jumping, everything that your body was designed to do.

WHERE YOU TRAIN

Anyone can do these workouts with dumbbells or no equipment at all. Workout in the GARAGE, your living-room, your back yard, or anywhere else.

MEET THE COACH

CRAIG HERRERA

 

From the time I was born my mom and dad instilled a drive and work ethic in me that has pushed me everyday, specifically in sports and fitness. From starting pushups and sit ups when I was 4 years old, taking  karate at my fathers studio, playing every sport there is, playing NCAA college football, and living to train daily. I now have over 20 years experience working in the health and fitness world; coaching, training, managing, owning, operating.

 

Graduate of California Lutheran University with a degree in Communications in Advertising and Public Relations. Played Wide Receiver, Quarterback and returned punts and kicks while playing football at CLU from 2001-2005. Member of the Dean’s List, a CLU Scholar Athlete, All SCIAC 1st Team Wide Receiver and Ventura County Star Offensive Player of the Year.

2001-2005 

CLU campus fitness center, Westlake Physical Therapy, and Newbury Park Athletic Club.

​

2006-2009  

Monster Fitness. General Manager and taught boxing and kickboxing to several hundred athletes. Bootcamps, core stability classes, suspension training, quarterback and wide receiver instruction, and spent many years creating exercise programs for children.

 

2009-2010

I was hand selected to be a part of the training staff at Athletic Gaines, alongside head trainer Travelle Gaines. It was here that I trained 2010 NFL Combine Athletes and NFL Veteran Off Season Athletes. I was privileged to work along some of the best trainers and athletes on the planet. Specifically Scott Mitchell (NASM Master Instructor) and Sherman Armstrong (University of Georgia Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning/Creator of VAST).

2014-2018

Owner and Head Coach of The Training Club. Here I created the programming and fitness regimen that I use today. CrossFit competitor, fitness model, Lululemon Ambassador, Position Apparel Athlete, and Scivation supplement Athlete. 

​

2018-Now

High School P.E. Athletics and Weight Room Teacher.

Certifications: CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Level 2, NASM CPT, California Teaching Credential in Physical Education, CA CTE Credential, First Aid/CPR .
